The "Climate Change And Global Warming" article, by Anup Shah, posted on Monday, April 2, 2012, focuses on the effects of global warming. It's claiming throughout a number of periods of times that global warming has affected greatly, and caused a great amount of damage to ecosystems, weathers, biodiversity, and many more.

As stated in the article, "Rapid global warming can affect an ecosystems chances to adapt naturally." I agree with this quote, partially because ecosystems do have a tendency of having a hard time to adapt to a sudden climate change. For instance, since global warming has affected the Arctic region, organisms have some difficulty adapting to the rising temperatures and the melting polar ice caps.

In Biology class, I've learned about ecosystems and communities. Global warming is affecting them because the climate is starting to rise up in temperature, so some organisms that inhabit rather cold regions will have to adapt to this change. One day, I was reading a book and an example of global warming sprang up.It mentioned that large communities of organisms migrated to colder regions because factories sprouted up and polluted the air and increased the temperature drastically, too much for the communities to handle all at once. Also, my class and I watched the movie "The Lorax" in class, and an entire ecosystem was diminished because of factories and pollution of the air, making it utterly impossible to live peacefully in these conditions.

I have just one question for humans out there: What is your opinion on global warming? Do you support creating more factories and such, but destroying ecosystems? Or are you against it entirely? I am against it, in my opinion. It is essential to have factories, I will admit, but we should only have them for needed reasons. We shouldn't be going out there and deforesting entire states and countries, just to build a few simple factories. I believe that there should be factories, but made in a better way so that if we do end up harming the environment in a way, it's very miniscule.
